We are excited to announce the second talk in our very popular series of art lectures brought to us by the docents at the Phoenix Art Museum. This talk is free and open to all Rio and Tonto Verde residents and their guests. We hope you’ll join us!

Come join us for this informative and entertaining talk as we explore the “Battle of the Baroque” – a classic rivalry between the Dutch in the north vs. the Italians in the south. Both revered as “Masters of Light”, we will compare and contrast the art and the audiences of 17th century artists, Vermeer and Caravaggio. Who will prevail in the Battle of the Baroque? You decide!
