VAL Social: Saturday Night Soup and Cinema

Join us in a FREE social event sponsored by the Verdes Art League (VAL)! It is open to all VAL members and their guests. This is the third in the series of VAL Movie nights. Please note this event is usually offered on the last Sunday of the month. This month however, it is offered on SATURDAY 3/23/24.

Attendees do not need to bring anything. Come and enjoy some social time with friends a healthful meal and an interesting movie.

Our March film is a short autobiography by Georgia O’ Keeffe, American Painter. In her own words, Georgia tells the unique story of her life in northern New Mexico. It depicts her later years living at her now famous Ghost Ranch where she endlessly explored the vast southwestern desert – capturing its unusual light and interesting rock formations. Her only human interaction was with the local Indians where both parties kept respectful distances. This lifestyle, she insists, was the best and most prolific time in her life!

NOTE: To be properly prepared, we highly appreciate an RSVP by Friday March 22nd (link below)
