Workshop or Event Hosting

Members are welcome to host workshops for other members and their guests. Following are the steps to reserve the art room and to have your event listed on the VAL website. You also have the option to have participants register for your workshop via the website.

STEP 1: ONLY IF YOU ARE RESERVING THE RIO VERDE ART ROOM.
Note: If you are hosting in your home or at another location besides the Rio Verde Community Center Art Room you can skip this step.
Members of the Verdes Art League who live in either Rio Verde or Tonto Verde are welcome to reserve the Art Room. To do so do.

1. Download and complete this form. COMMUNITY CENTER FUNCTION REQUEST FORM
2. Take it to the Rio Verde Community Center office during business hours or email it to Connie Sauter at: connie@rioverdehoa.org

STEP 2: TO HAVE YOUR WORKSHOP OR EVENT LISTED ON THE VAL WEBSITE AND CALENDAR.
Once you have the “green light”/approval from the Community Center you may have your workshop featured on the VAL website Events + Workshop Page and Calendar Page. Note: If your workshop or event is taking place a location other than the VAL Art Room please indicate this on the application below (check box).

Optional online registration or reservation form. Your workshop listing can include a registration form. Registrations will come to the email address that you indicate and you will be responsible for retaining these and corresponding with applicants.

Guidelines

Please review the following guidelines when planning your workshop.

As a first step, if you are applying to use the art room see STEP 1 above.
All instructors should be reminded that the room is also an open studio and there may be artists present and working on their own projects.
Please fill out the fields below. This information will be to create your event/workshop posting.
Indicate any costs associated with your workshop such as instruction fees and/or material fees
Be sure to upload your photos to the Google drive. Drop and drag from your desktop.
