If you love acrylics or watercolor, join us on Friday mornings from 9:30 to 12:00 in the art room. We are seeking new members to learn the basics and explore the possibilities. Each week we will devote the first hour to materials and skill techniques. A paint along will follow with an emphasis on the featured technique.

Beginners are encouraged to join us as we all learn together. Our motto is to let the water do the work. Sometimes we help the water along with sponges, saran wrap, gesso, salt or tape.

JANUARY 3: We will start off the new year with a fun project…ANIMALS. We talked about a tortoise or rooster from Jackie’s photos taken in Hawaii. Bring your supplies. Just getting started? We have some supplies and materials on hand. Jackie will have pictures. Brush strokes and texture techniques will be empathized.
