The Verdes Art League Fine Art Show and Sale will be held at the Rio Verde Community Center this year, on Friday, November 15 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a preview and Saturday, November 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. for the show and sales. The participating artists will have a variety of works in several different mediums including oil, watercolor, and acrylic paintings.

This fall show will be so special as we will hold an opening reception and sale on Friday night, November 15 from 4 - 6 PM. The reception includes a special gift bag (for the first 100 attendees), a glass of wine while the guests stroll, get a sneak peak at the show (with availability to purchase) and have a chance to meet you and discuss work one on one.

There will be music, a silent auction and little light bites. The sale continues and will resume again on Saturday morning at 9 AM and close at 1 PM Uust in case they didn't get a chance to snag that special item Friday evening!).

Other art work shown will include bead weaving, fiber art, small sculptures, metal and wood pieces, painted gourds, jewelry, quilting, photography, painting on tile and glass and several types of artist note cards.

The Verdes Art League Fine Art Show and Sale is open to the public and admission is free. The Rio Verde is located eight miles north of Fountain Hills on Four Peaks Avenue, one block west of Forest Avenue, between McDowell Mountain Road and Dynamite (Rio Verde Drive). From North Scottsdale take Dynamite to McDowell Mountain Rd and turn right onto Rio Verde Dr. and continue south on Rio Verde Dr to the Rio Verde Community Center.
